Staff Update - Introducing Steffan Souness
Steffan grew up in North Otago on an Arable farm in Papakaio on the Waitaki plains.
On leaving High School he took on a baker’s apprenticeship for 4 years at a bakery in Oamaru.
With finishing his apprenticeship Steffan went back onto the family farm consisting of Arable, Sheep and Beef.
In 1998 he started at CRT working in the store. An opportunity arose to take on a Field Rep roll covering Dairy, Sheep, Beef and Arable farms in the North Otago Waitaki Valley area.
After 3 years as a Field Rep and starting a young family the opportunity to move back into the store as a store manager at CRT arose. Steffan managed CRT/Farmlands until moving to North Otago Pastoral Services in November 2022.
With experience on a large range of rural retail products combined with working with clients of all farming types and building long term relationships, Steffan is committed to the rural sector.
Steffan is very excited about his move and working on adding to his knowledge to help our clients.
